TopR is a competitive-exam preparation application developed by Antilver Systems Private Limited. We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses the app.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored and shared, and the rights you have over your information.
We do NOT collect: location, contacts, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers, or other precise identifiers.
Your practice progress is stored locally on your device (in an on-device database and secure local storage). It is not uploaded to our servers. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this local progress is removed from your device.
Your account credentials are managed by Firebase Authentication (a Google service). We never see or store your password.
The public part of your sign-in restore key and your account ID are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, in Google's Mumbai, India (asia-south1) region. The matching private key never leaves your control: it is held by Android on your device and, if you have enabled Android's backup, in your end-to-end encrypted Google backup. We never receive it.
TopR uses Firebase Authentication to let you sign in and to secure your account, and Cloud Functions for Firebase with Cloud Firestore only to check and store the sign-in restore keys and to verify purchases with Google Play, as described above. We do not use Firebase to store your practice data, and we do not use Firebase analytics, advertising, or push-messaging services.

If you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides your name, email, and profile photo to TopR for authentication purposes only.
You can revoke access anytime via your Google Account Permissions.
TopR may offer an optional backup feature. If — and only if — you choose to enable it and connect your Google Drive, a copy of your practice progress is saved to your own Google Drive account. We do not store this backup on our servers, and we cannot access any other files in your Drive. You can disable backup or revoke Drive access at any time from your Google Account Permissions.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not store or process any payment information. To unlock a purchase, our server confirms it with Google Play and keeps the purchase record described in section 2.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Regardless of age, the following protections apply to every user:

International data transfer: Account/authentication data is processed by Google on its global infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred across borders, it is safeguarded under Google's data-processing terms and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Practice progress remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Account data, including the public sign-in restore keys, is retained while your account is active. Signing out removes the restore key from your device. Deleting your account in the app also deletes your stored restore keys immediately. Upon an account deletion request, associated personal data is removed within 30 days. Purchase records are kept after account deletion only as long as needed to handle refunds, disputes and financial record-keeping obligations, and are not used for anything else.

TopR uses previous-year question papers of examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), reproduced for educational practice. TopR is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with UPSC or any government body. All trademarks and examination names belong to their respective owners.
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated policy.
